The reported move for reversal of government's policy on family planning, though outwardly it creates an impression of generosity, will ultimately ruin the poor people.
By creating the impression that government will come to their rescue, poor people will be encouraged to raise larger families and take loans from all available sources to support them,and by the time they realize that government (for lack of economic resources) cannot save them,it is too late.
They will be left with no alternative except suicide either alone or with their entire families.
Besides, impoverished people who depend on charity will become slaves and their services can be bought and sold for money ,on humiliating terms.This will virtually turn them into slaves for all practical purposes.
Besides, wrong policies will make the nation economically weak,and our nation will be forced to follow the dictates of economically stronger nations. This can endanger our financial security and freedom itself.
India, with all its wealth and wisdom, should not lose its political or economic freedom due to erroneous policies.
